Horizon

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 18, 2026

1 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Horizon ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our video generation and distribution platform.

2 Information we collect

2.1. Account authentication data

When you connect third-party platform accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook), we store OAuth2 access tokens and refresh tokens locally on your device. These tokens are used solely to authenticate with the respective platforms for video publishing.

2.2. Content data

We process the content you provide, including scripts, images, audio, and video files, to generate and publish videos. This content is stored locally on your device.

2.3. Platform identifiers

We may store platform-specific user identifiers (such as TikTok open_id or YouTube channel ID) locally to associate your accounts with the correct publishing channels.

2.4. Information we do not collect

  • We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
  • We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.
  • We do not collect analytics or usage data.
  • We do not collect information from third parties beyond what is necessary for OAuth2 authentication.

3 How we use information

We use the information described above exclusively to:

  • Authenticate with third-party platforms on your behalf.
  • Upload and publish video content to your connected accounts.
  • Store your authentication tokens locally so you do not need to re-authorize on every use.

4 Data storage and security

All data, including authentication tokens, content files, and configuration, is stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers or databases that store your information.

Authentication tokens are stored as JSON files on your local filesystem. You are responsible for securing access to your device and these files.

We recommend keeping your device secure and not sharing access to directories containing authentication tokens.

5 Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

When you use the Service to publish videos, the video content and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, hashtags) are transmitted directly to the third-party platforms you have authorized (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook). This data is then governed by those platforms' respective privacy policies.

6 Third-party services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services:

  • YouTube (Google) — for video publishing
  • TikTok — for video publishing
  • Facebook (Meta) — for video publishing

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them:

7 Your rights and choices

You can revoke the Service's access to any third-party platform at any time through that platform's account settings.

You can delete locally stored authentication tokens at any time by removing the corresponding token files from your device.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.

8 Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. All content published through the Service is marked as not made for kids.

9 Data retention

Authentication tokens are stored locally until you delete them or they expire. Content files remain on your device until you choose to delete them. We do not retain any data on external servers.

10 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
